| This weekend I went to visit my old friend "Philadelphia"...she welcomed me with cold rain and wind...
Walking from the train station to the pub where we ate lunch (thanks Gayle!), Koko's feet were soaked! (I later discovered that this was due to the giant holes he had in the soles). So, after lunch we walked over to the mall and bought him so new shoes. Only, I had to first buy him new socks so that he could even try on the shoes. Since we were traveling light we threw away the old shoes and wore the new socks and shoes right out of the store. A successful shopping trip if I do say so myself. And that's my exciting story of the weekend. That, and my sister was awesome in her play.
All in all I had a good time in Philly. I saw some old friends, (some of which I didn't even expect to see!), got to see my family, and reminisced with my city. I'll return again when she decides to be less stingy with the sunshine.
oh...and I got to see my cats :) | | |

| the snow makes me happy...it comforts me in some strange way because I think that's how it's supposed to be. As much as I loved the warm weather there was something eery about it like it was too good to be true...like we were all being distracted with the beautiful sunshine while some evil beavers were plotting to take over the world...you know what I mean?
Listening to the cd from the open mic night, it makes me smile :) as does the snow.
things are right again.
